The lodges in Toronto East District generally conduct two meetings each month, the regular meeting (listed below) and the emergent meeting. Regular meetings are held to initiate new members, conduct official lodge business, host visiting Grand Lodge representatives and conduct annual observances such as lodge elections and installations. Emergent meetings are primarily used to attend to month to month operational matters as it relates to the effective governance of the Lodge. Meetings are not held in July and August each year.
